Around the world, attending prestigious universities has never been cheap, especially now with the high cost of living. On average, four-year colleges charge $27,940 to $57,570 per year for tuition and room and board. Choosing the right college is a difficult task and requires a lot of thought. Lucky for us, U.S. News & World Report has recently released an updated study to assist in this decision-making process. By analyzing data and seeking expert advice, they have compiled a list of 2024's Best Colleges in the nation. Massachusetts continues its tradition of offering top-quality education by claiming the #2 and #3 spots on the list! The coveted #1 spot went to Princeton University in New Jersey, but our state should be proud to have two universities ranked so highly. At #2 is M.I.T., or Massachusetts Institute of Technology, located in Cambridge; closely followed by #3 Harvard University also situated in Cambridge. How amazing is it that out of the top three colleges in the country, two are right here in Massachusetts?
