Nothing brings us back to our younger selves like a concert with bands we loved in high school. Sure the body aches in the morning will remind us of our age. But for those few hours, we get to jump in a DeLorean and transport back to the days of acid wash jeans, Aquanet teased up hair and Reebok Pumps. Here are the touring plans from some of our favorite 80s bands that are hitting the road in 2025.
’80s Bands Touring Plans for 2025
Bryan Adams
Despite it being 55 years since the iconic Summer of '69, musician Bryan Adams shows no signs of slowing down. He will be starting off 2025 with shows in Europe before making his way down under for concerts in New Zealand and Australia. However, if you are in the US, your only opportunity to catch him live will be during his residency at the Encore Theater in Las Vegas this March. In May, he will return to Europe for a summer tour.
Bon Jovi
When discussing bands from the 1980s, one cannot fail to mention the largest one of them all. While there are currently no scheduled live performances for Bon Jovi in 2025, frontman Jon expressed his desire to embark on a tour next year during a recent radio interview. However, he is still recovering from surgery and wants to ensure that he can give his all during a full two-hour show. Of course, this raises the question - can Bon Jovi truly be considered Bon Jovi without lead guitarist Richie Sambora?
Def Leppard
If you're looking to jam to "Pour Some Sugar On Me" in person, you'll have to pull out your credit card and shell out a good amount of cash for one of the larger music festivals. Def Leppard doesn't have an official tour, but they are slated to perform at various festivals such as Boardwalk Rock in Ocean City, Maryland, Summerfest in Milwaukee, and even Country Thunder in Craven, Canada! My recommendation? Catch them at Mohegan Sun in the forested area of Connecticut on July 3rd. Then, you can head to Boston or New York City the next day for some 4th of July fireworks.
Guns N Roses
Get ready to travel! Guns N Roses is hitting the road and you'll want to include airfare in your budget if you want to catch Axl belting out "Sweet Child O' Mine." The tour will take them across the globe from May to July, with stops in exciting destinations like Barcelona, Florence, Munich, London, Stockholm, Budapest, and Vienna. And don't miss out on some special appearances by iconic acts such as the Sex Pistols and Public Enemy.
Billy Idol
It seems like Billy Idol may have some exciting news to share soon regarding a potential tour. Currently, he is only scheduled for one show at the Forever Now Festival in Buckinghamshire, England. However, the lineup is stacked with other incredible artists such as the Psychedelic Furs, The Motels, and Berlin – definitely worth considering making the trip for!
Billy Joel
In 2025, Billy Joel has a full schedule of concerts ahead. He will be performing in various stadiums in Indianapolis, Toronto, Syracuse, Milwaukee, Salt Lake City, Pittsburgh, and New York City (specifically East Rutherford, NJ). Additionally, he has lined up some intimate shows at Mohegan Sun on February 22 and the Hard Rock in Hollywood, FL on January 17.
Bruce Springsteen
If you want to listen to "Born in the USA," you'll have to take a trip overseas. The musician known as The Boss has scheduled stadium performances in England, France, Germany, the Czech Republic, Spain, and Italy for this summer.
Tears for Fears
If you're a fan of Tears for Fears, you won't want to miss their upcoming performances. The band recently brought down the house with their hit songs like "Shout" and "Everybody Wants to Rule The World" at the finale of The Voice. While we wait for their official tour announcement, mark your calendars for January 31-February 7 for their shows at Fontainebleau Las Vegas in 2025.
Toto
Join Toto as they embark on a tour featuring numerous iconic hits from the 80s. The band will be joined by Men At Work and Christopher Cross for hows in Tampa, Boston, Phoenix, Las Vegas, and Nashville.
ZZ Top
Despite Dusty's passing, the band continues to deliver exceptional music. With a busy schedule planned for 2025, ZZ Top will be performing live at various venues across the United States and Canada, such as the Seminole Hard Rock in Tampa on March 12.
